Anti War sentiments
On every battle field there are at least two sides fighting. Each one thinks that they are right and the other is wrong, some team up on one another and fight for what they think is right. Through this point of thinking you can deduce that there is no right or wrong choice, because everyone has their own opinion of the subject.
On both sides of the battle there are the ones leading the war, pouring thousands upon thousands of their currency into the war; there are the ones fighting, whether joined by free will forced or drafted into the fight, each of those people have their own thought on the war and have to deal with their newest orders. However there are also the people who are on the side lines, not exactly fighting in the war but they have their own views as well.
These are the protesters who didn't want the war to ever have started, and wished only for it to end.
A few songs sung during the protests were such as these:
And its 1 2 3 4 what are we fighting for?
Don't as me I don't give a damn!
And its 5 6 7 So open up them pearly gates.
Ain't no time
to wonder why
Whoopee
We're all gonna die!
Its the chorus of a very wordy song by 'Country Joe and the Fish,' called 'I'm Fixin' to Die Rag.'
